At Barwon Heads Primary School we use positive approaches and language to ensure the optimal wellbeing of our students.
By focussing on their strengths, children see themselves as capable individuals with their own set of qualities, talents and skills. By taking ownership of their behaviour, students become more resilient and responsible.
We have developed a set of positive statements which relate to our wellbeing model. We use these each day at school, both in the yard and in the classroom. Our positive statements are on display throughout our school.
