Summer Tackers Sailing Program
The “Tackers” program is for children between the ages of 7-12 years who wish to learn to sail. This is a nationwide program run by Sailing Australia. They provide all equipment, including boats as well as professionally qualified trainers with all of the necessary approvals including current Working with children checks.
Barwon Coast and the Barwon Heads Sailing Association have given their full support to this program.
The cost for the entire 5 day program is $330 per child and we have only 20 places.
Each participating child will also receive 12 months family membership of the Barwon Heads sailing Association, which turns 50 this year.
